(no subject)
I've been rather busy for the past little while, but everything that I could post seems pretty lame. I may make a picture post next week now that I've gone through some of my Calgary photos and taken some today at Joker's Hill.
Convocation was on Tuesday, so I have officially graduated. I'm so sick of answering the question "What next?" (I know everyone means well and I appreciate that they're interested, but it gets to be a bit repetitive).
Tomorrow I'm going to be going to Silver Snail (I don't think I've ever been there before, actually) to get autographs from John de Lancie and Robert Picardo...provided they're not charging too too much. I love Q. It's just too bad I don't have that costume done. I don't think I have anything for The Doctor to sign though. =x
Then it's off to Star Trek: The Music, which is hosted by the above two actors.
After that, if I have time, I'm heading to the VGL concert. =O
It's sort of like I'm making my own Polaris this year. ._.;;;
(Speaking of which, I'm still emo about missing Jadzia Dax at this year's con. It won't be the same as meeting her myself, but if someone else is getting her autograph, could you please get one for me as well? I would of course reimburse you for both the autograph and the photo (I don't think she's bringing her own). I would likely also bombard you with dazzling sparklies of glee and such.)
I'm still planning to go to the cosplay picnic on Sunday, but I'm still not sure what to wear! Originally I was going to make another pokémon costume (Dragonite), but I haven't had time to work on it (aside from making the headband right after AN) and don't have fabric for it.
The only other options I can think of would be Gomamon (easy to wear, easy to change into/out of, low maintenance wig, but spirit gum needed for face thingies and it's pretty ghetto/simple) or Helena (easy to wear, looks relatively decent, but wig is awful and it's white and therefore stain-attracting). Not sure what to do. =x
