Sunday the sisters took Dad out to beautiful Vallejo to the
Pirate Festival! Arrrr@ Kinda like the ren faire … with pirates! None of my party had been to any kind of festival, so it was nice to show them this. I recognized a *lot* of Dickens peeps. It was mellow at 10, slightly overcast and a bit chilly as we wandered around. A few hours later, as the sun came up, it was hotter and more crowded. Dad escaped the angry powers of the sun, the sisters … not so lucky.
Pre-sun. We are slightly cold, but ready for action!

Ali was selected to go on stage and elect a Pirate King. Although the damn speaker was in my way I could hear her giggling through the entire performance. She even got close to Jack Spare-Rib!
