Brrr!
It is bitterly cold today. Yeeeesh. *shivers* I'm doing my usual errand-runner-about-campus thing, and I think my ears are freezing *through* the earmuffs.
Last night I didn't sleep very well because (a) doggie kept shifting and edging me out of any semblance of space in the bed, and (b) it was HOT in the apt. last night. The one time the heater decides to actually heat the place, it does its job far too well. We kept turning it down and cracking the window further. Yes, cracking the window. When it was, like, one degree outside. That's how hot it was in the house.
I kept tossing and turning and waking up. Once I woke up with a lovely and creepy image that I so need to use in a writing project sometime, so that was yayness, but mostly I went around in circles worrying about stupid things. You know how everything is magnified when you're awake at 3:30 a.m. and can't get back to sleep? yeah. I can barely remember what I was fretting about, but whatever it was, it had me in a tizzy.
I hope my tax refund comes today, because I want to do some belated V-day shopping. And buy books.
