so... now I have a brief indenturedness to a good old friend doing graphics for her site. She's going to pay me for it, too... doing the graphics might become a recurring thing, even if the pay is a one time only deal. Not necessarily a bad thing. I could work it into my resume. The site is intended for educators and students so it might even become fairly high-visibility.

I should offer to host it. :)

at any rate, I need to bring myself up to speed on the vagaries of Photoshop 7 tonight... I've used 4 for years but never felt the need to upgrade until now. So. Got some music playing (the soundtrack to Riven) and my sketchpad out (for rough drafts) and Photoshop is running on my wife's computer (it has a scanner too) and for some reason my cat is watching the cursor move across the screen as I type.

Odd animal. Heh. Wonder what happens if . . . . I type over HERE.
