The fog is slowly lifting - I only have a few arduous projects left...
-my theory project is finished; I merely have to type it up on the Finale program. the final next week is all that is left.
-I have to turn in my French workbook on Friday (all of the answers are in the back, btw) and take the final.
-I have to show up to read my poetry in writing class and have a conference with the professor next week.
-The only real work that I have is to write my final paper for philosophy, which is due noon next Wednesday.
This is phenomenal. And I'll be house sitting in Marion for my brother and sister-in-law the beginning of next week.
This week-end was O.K. - After the poetry reading, I got a lot of homework done on Friday and went to bed early (I was going through Mark withdrawl).
Worked Saturday from 6am-1:30pm and spent the day with Mark. Kelly turned 20 that day, so I went to a semi-swanky cocktail party at Dresden's. Kelly and Dresden looked phenomenal in their cocktail dresses. I was the only other girl and felt ridiculous in a Power Ranger tee-shirt and jeans.
Sunday the school gave me $130 for my writing, a certificate for my G.P.A, and a pin that says "Shippensburg University Scholar." They also fed me - really well. Later, Jess Hallock had a gathering of musicians at her house. I enjoyed playing, but a lot of the people just weren't my crowd. Also, as opposed to being overdressed at the party the prior evening, I felt overdressed, as I wore a hot dress that Dresden gave me with pants. Though the dress was hot, I really didn't do it any justice by wearing it and everyone else was in jeans and tee-shirts, so I'm glad Mark and I left when we did.
