Summary: Fuji and Echizen both visit Tezuka separately at the same time.
It probably should have been very awkward, Echizen walking in on Fuji in Tezuka's dorm in Germany. One or the other of them probably should have blushed or muttered some excuse-the former should have been Echizen and the latter Fuji. They really shouldn't have just started exchanging pleasantries.
But they did.
Fuji didn't ask Echizen how he got to Germany, Echizen didn't ask Fuji the same question. Fuji knew why Echizen was there but didn't comment, Echizen didn't ask why Fuji was there at all. Once they ran out of the expected, or not so expected, 'how are you doing's and 'how has so-and-so been?'s, they let a quick moment of silence pass before one or the other of them mentioned tennis and they went off on that tangent and then a tangent of that tangent as if it were normal.
Really, the only one at all surprised by the situation was Tezuka, who walked into his dorm expecting it to be empty and came across both his boyfriend and best friend talking about whether he (Tezuka) looked better in purple or in blue.
"What are you..." Tezuka couldn't even finish asking. Surely he was just imagining this.
They both looked at him curiously. "We're visiting." Fuji said. Echizen nodded in agreement.
"This is Germany." Tezuka rubbed his eyes. This must be a dream. That was it. He was just dreaming.
"Yes it is." Fuji said. Then he turned to Echizen and said lightly. "You know, your boyfriend's really dense."
"I know, senpai." Echizen said.
"Why are you in Germany?" Alright, this was really a very odd dream.
"To visit." Echizen said. This time, it was Fuji who nodded and Tezuka realized that Fuji was hiding a smile.
"In Germany."
They both nodded and Tezuka thought that if he kept this up Fuji would die from holding back his laughter.
Just then it seemed very tempting, but Tezuka had homework to finish so he sighed and walked in and sat down at his desk. "Just don't make a mess."
They nodded again. "I still think blue looks better." Fuji said.
"But purple fits his-"
"No, it fits Atobe's personality." Fuji corrected and Tezuka stopped paying attention to them. Fuji was probably just trying to get a rise out of him anyways.
Later, when they were gone, Tezuka would wonder why he acted according to what he thought Fuji was doing. Shouldn't he be thinking more of Echizen? He would brush that thought away uncomfortably, because he was being a terrible boyfriend and he knew it.
