His secret: a cup of coffee and an omelete at a diner, pretending COVID is over.
Mine: reclaiming my "power" by excluding my whole family from my plans.

Either way, it doesn't look good for either of us. Even as we drained the glass jars a second time, my revelry was giddily haunted by the thought of being found out.

Taking a day to myself was selfish enough to warrant a conversation about balance and equity, but can you just imagine the exchange if it was known other selves were present and joyously received?
