Car solved, for now
The repairs weren't cheap, but not mind-boggling and therefore not scrap-inducing. My car will not become scrap metal, and will continue on for now. I am tucking into home and will not be going out much. I'm tightening my money belt for the forseeable future. Anyone who delights in cheap/free pleasures like gaming, movies, watching dvd box sets of series, drinking games, what-have-you: please feel free stop in on my self-imposed hermitage. Lucky for me, I don't think too much is going on that requires going out, at least for a while.
Oh- and Nick and I just picked up 3 cases of wine from indiana while we were in fort wayne, so come over and help me drink it sometime!
