Firekeeper, aka Lady Blysse Norwood of Kestrel House:
+ Has two names, yes three if you count her birth name. She'll introduce herself as Blysse at first (though she won't bother with the Lady bit unless she feels whoever she's talking to needs to know it) but if she decides she likes you she'll tell you her "real" name, Firekeeper, which was the one given to her by the wolves.
+ Yes, wolves. She was raised by "intelligent, language-using wolves" and considers herself one of them. So the language of beasts is pretty much her first language. Her Pellish English grammar is still a bit awkward because of this.
+ Can't read or write for the most part- she knows a handful of Liglim symbols that she's in turn taught
blondecanary, and is getting better with numbers, but yeah.
+ Has a hard time pinning down what exactly she calls "home" these days. She grew up in the mountains just outside Hawk Haven's boundaries, was formally adopted by Hawk Haven nobility, and then was kidnapped by people from a land called Liglim and spent the summer prior to her arrival in Fandom living there.
+ Has no real idea how old she is. Her friend Doc estimated her at about 14 when she was first "discovered", but there's no real way of knowing. So I haven't given her a birthday. This may change at some point.
+ Has somewhat heightened senses. Not superhuman, just trained to the upper limit of human achievment through neccessity, because when you're competing with wild animals for food you need all the help you can get.
+ Is also ridiculously strong. She decapitated a man twice her size with a hunting knife, once.
+ Is very skilled with said hunting knife, as well as a bow. Is decent with a sword.
+ Has a rather extensive number of scars on her arms and legs... and probably other less visible places too. Consequences of life in the forest.
+ Doesn't like or trust magic, but is getting better about that.
+ Gets rather violently seasick. Thankfully this doesn't translate to general motion sickness, or Flight & Flying might not have gone so well.
+ Thinks shoes are stupid, for the most part. Except in winter, because after ten years of wrapping her feet in rabbit skins to prevent losing them to frostbite, boots were just that much simpler. But other than that will just about always be barefoot.
+ Is really-good-but-not-best friends with
weetuskenraider, aka her barefoot buddy.
+ Is best friends with Blind Seer, the larger than average wolf with blue eyes that is almost always with her. Blind Seer, btw, understands human speech and is not a pet, something which Firekeeper will be happy to point out to anyone who assumes otherwise.
+ Works at The Gig, whose horses are now rather laid-back about the whole wolf thing.
+ Has Kristen Stewart as a PB, yep. What? She's got the perfect look for it.
The Player:
+ Is around to play M-F evenings from 9 to about 2am EST. Plus during lunch breaks via my phone browser if you don't mind extreme slowplay. Also weekends barring any errand-running, because I do have a life outside the computer sometimes.
+ 's brain hurts from having to type in Firekeeper's oh-so-broken grammar all the time.
+ Tries to sign on to AIM as kestrelswolf but usually forgets.
+ Is, however, reachable at kestrelswolf@gmail.com.
+ Totally promised a bunch of people ebook copies of the first four books and needs to remember to upload those sometime.
+ Tried to post this like thirty times. And that's not an exaggeration, LJ kept complaining that I wasn't using UTF-8 encoding. Whatever that means.
