I got two lovely story-gifts yesterday!
Of Dogs and Children; or, How Christopher Chant Became a Father, which is a Chronicles of Chrestomanci story which is so much like the books: wonderful dialogue and characterizations, and just freaking adorable.
And 'C'hange or "How the Guitar Hero Gets His Bitch" by tru-faith-lost for spn_holidays, a J2 story which is a very real and lyrical look at a possibility no one would want to deal with, but they do so with such grace.
And I got icons, too! I'm sporting one here :).
In other happy news, I've finished my spn_holidays story. Or at least I think I'm done, since I just sent it off to beta. Please god, let it be done.
