Damn, this show has been good. What I don't understand is why Jack's father was still alive, if the flashes we got were future ones. Did time preset somehow when they were rescued? Even if it's just Jack projecting a possible future, why would his father be alive?
Regardless, I love the time switch on the flashes, and how Ben might be right after all.
Charlie's death seemed a little pointless, though from his perspective I can understand that he'd already come to terms with it. And if he thought it was the only way Desmond's premonition would come true, I can see why he'd do it even though it wasn't necessary (it seems to me he could have gotten out and closed the door from the outside before the grenade exploded). But his character was becoming rather pointless as well, so I suppose it's all fitting.
And how evil is it that the writers have cleverly manipulated me into rooting for Jack and Kate to get together. Kill me if I start writing Jack/Kate fic. Damn it, I just might.
Sawyer's really gone over to the dark side, hasn't he. But even since the bunny incident, I've been very bloodthirsty when it comes to the Others; I don't even care that the bunny was fine. So I can't work up too much moral outrage over all the Others that were killed.
Hurley! What a way to make a point.
I'm still not quite sure what to make of Locke, where Jacob fits into all of this (I'm assuming it was Jacob taking the form of Walt), and of course Ben. They all seem loosely on the same side, and their goals are the same, but their motivations are completely different. Not sure how that's going to play out.
Above all, I can't believe we have to wait until freaking January!
