BOONE IS SO LOCKE'S BITCH. Do they even know how hot that is? Could they possibly be that generous? Boone protecting Locke and having his pretty face hurt. SO HOT.
Charlie to Sawyer: "You hit like a ponce." Yes, Charlie, yes he does.
How can they turn my indifference to a character--like Michael--into pure love? That scene in the beginning, with the hat...how could she not marry him?? Who could resist that? Also, major props to the show for finding such good actors.
Very little Kate, which makes me happy; pretty soon I'll be able to tolerate her again, and all will be well.
The evil child thing is a little spooky and also corny; I found the flipside of the usual cliche--loving stepfather tries to win custody battle of adopted child, loses in courts to birth father--to be fascinating. The dead bird was less fascinating, though I'll admit my first thought was: Oh, Walt's mother must have some kind of West Nile virus, because all the birds are dying. I don't know if the West Nile virus ever hit Australia, though. The look the stepfather gave Walt was a little too anvilly; if they have to push it that much, then maybe the dead bird--because Walt was angry?--wasn't as obvious a signal as it could have been.
Anyway, evil children--so Walt has this weird mojo thing going, and Claire's baby is apparently destined for evil as well. It veers a little too closely to the Omen for me, and I hope they make it more interesting.
But the thing is, I trust this show to make it more interesting. Did I tell you how much I love it?
In other news, it snowed today so I left work early, came home and wrote porn. Rather a lot of porn, which made me happy. It should snow every day, except really--not.
