ASoIaF adaptation: still waiting in anticipation
Well, nothing much to report, but I'll report it anyway (because I said so).
grrm has reported that, should the series get the go-ahead from HBO, BBC will be teaming up with them! W00t! This bodes well for us British :D (and maybe perhaps possibly they'll film some/all over here plz?). *Sigh* I do wish this whole process would speed up a little. Stoopid tv peoples.
In other news, I downloaded a ton of Sufjan Stevens tracks, although I think I might just have to buy a few of their albums to avoid over-stinginess. I really do like 'Angels We Have Heard On High'. I know it's a tiny little track, but the music in it is so beautiful, it really does make you think of Christmas. I remember hearing it in Extra's Christmas special and thinking "must have!" Also, I was thinking, I can't really relate to Sufjan's lyrics much. In fact, at all. Firstly, I am not a Christian. Secondly, I am not American. That's pretty much all he sings about. Yet, the music is gorgeous. I think it's the same with Sigur Ros, and (recently) various Japanese artists - I can't comprehend the lyrics, but the music itself is lovely.
Oh, and we're still behind on revision, but at least I've done some. Most people have finished their exams now, damn them. -_- Can't wait to go home.
