So I came up with the title of the third chapter in my thesis--"Blade Runner: Disability As Image of the Techno-Gothic In City and Society"--and I've begun rereading De Certoau's "Walking In the City." After doing that for a couple of hours I decided to slack.
It just occured to me, however, that perhaps I should explain a bit about my idea of slacking. After loudly bragging to
freerange_snark and
dux_arturis that I was on my third cup of coffee and deeply involved in my slacking project, that most people don't usually associate "slacking" with the word "project." My slacking actully involves writing an essay on blues as poetry, which I am then going to present as a spoken essay in a blues mix. It's a project I've been toying with for a couple of years, and may get to have it aired on teh CMS radio show.
Anyway, back to the slacking.
