Quite the weekend.

Actually, a rather uneventful but still quite nice weekend.

Friday, I was still feeling awful, so we had a quiet night at home with pizza and makeover shows. I set up my iPod Touch (it is SO SO SO SHINY OMG!) and went to bed at 11 and slept for twelve hours.

Saturday we hit the National Book Festival to hear Neil Gaiman. Snagged two of the advance copies of The Graveyard Book, died from the humidity and then had lunch at the Native American Indian Museum. Which is a really tasty food court, by the way. If you haven't gone yet, you should. It's a little pricey but all native foods. Headed home, read stentoriansista the first chapter of the book, had a nap, got up, putzed around, started some bread and then we decided to hit Target at 10 o'clock on Saturday night. No, we're not sure either, except that we were out of diet coke and that's a travesty. Putzed around target for an hour, came home, finished the bread, watched Tristram Shandy, which is also a very strange movie and features every single British actor ever (seriously - Steve Coogan, Jeremy Northam, the dad from Mirrormask, Papa Weasley, the dude in all of the Simon Pegg movies, the chick from Gosford Park and the chick from 28 Days Later) and Gillian Anderson (otherwise known as rubrchick's celebrity girlfriend).

Got up this morning and almost immediately needed to take a nap (this sinus thing is still kicking my ass), and stentoriansista and I got some serious work done. We'd decided to skip Crafty Bastards since both of us are broke and she had to work, so instead, we finally finished painting the craftroom and got stuff up on the walls. (I say we... stentoriansista did most of the work, I just supervised and tidied a bit). FInished the weekend with an apple cobbler.

And I'm going to bed... soonish.
