Family visit!
My lovely husband came up with a solution to my mom not having the funds to visit us this year. He suggested that we offer to pay for her flight. Then, since she would be staying in our guest room, she wouldn't need very much money. She was thrilled with the offer. However, my aunt, who originally was the one who wanted to come visit us, spent all her money after my mom said she couldn't do it. So it will just be my mom, and my step-dad, who really wanted to come. Basically my mom is back in the same situation she was in at the beginning, paying for one plane ticket. Ah well. I'm really looking forward to seeing them, just wish they could bring my doggies with them. I miss them, too.
