Well, it feels very differant, now that I'm no longer the at the very bottom teir of a company. In truth, I still am, but people are actively seeking out my advice and views and today I took a leading roll in a meeting going over some technical issues. I explayed what I saw as the weeknesses in their system, and they asked how I thought it should be done. I was listened to, and also challenged, the weeknesses in my systems pointed out. The conclusion could not have been better, we use both systems so that they can take advantage of the strengths and eliminate the weeknesses.
