Writer's Block: Really, Truly
On our first date I looked across the table at my future husband and thought "this is a good man, a man who knows how to treat a woman, this man is intelligent, gentle and funny. I want him in my life." I was mature enough to know that I deserved this. I'm know I wouldn't have appreciated him when I was younger. Because he was much older than me he was a bit stand-offish at first, thinking that I should be dating someone closer to my own age. We fell deeply in love and had fifteen years together. My sweetheart passed away last year and I miss him every day.
