Yay.
Wow, today was such a good day. I'm all bouncy and happy and crap... not my style, it's scaring people at school (LoL). Talent show auditions were yesterday after school, and guess who made it? .::points to self and grins::. I did. =D =D =D I'm singing a song (duh. Emily wanted to know what I was singing, and I said, "I'm singing a song." She was like, "Nah, really? I thought you were singing a tree." ...Okay, that was really funny before, but now that it's etched down, it sounds stupid. Oh well.) -- "A Thousand Miles" by Vanessa Carlton. Not my first choice as a person, but her songs are good (besides, I promised Monika I'd try out with that song. I kept my promise!)
It was also Mr. Martinez's birthday... he turned 31 (what an old gheezer! Earlier Christin said, "Geez... I can't imagine myself being that old!"). Emily and I were planning a surprise party-ish thinger, but Mrs. Martinez (his wife and, ironically, another teacher at our school) beat us to it. We walked into the room and there were streamers hanging from the ceiling, confetti was everywhere, there were banners across the walls saying "Happy Birthday" and sentimental stuff like that... Emily and I got him a pink purse with a Barbie in a pink dress (long story... don't ask, please). Vicky and Smeet even got pictures of him with his "Birthday Prince" (ha!) crown and everything. ...Blackmail, here we come. Mwahaha.
