Been kind of all around but not around lately. Weird series of events. Saw a doctor on Monday; found out I'm basically the same size I was in middle school just taller which isn't so great. Meant to get tested then but forgot and ran out of time; I'm supposed to stop by again soon maybe then I'll check my blood. Went jobhunting again yesterday; the only thing worse than having a shitty job is no job at all and since I'm having a hard time giving a fuck about my current it'd be prudent to look. Job market sucks. Houston is nice at three and four in the morning; different from the daytime when you're cruising around in all night as long as you watch out for cops and no one's black or mexican -Dave was Cuban so we thought we'd make it through alright. It's not like New York where there's 5 million people in one square mile of concrete jungle. More of a savannah. Some six million people here but it's spread out across an area that's larger than some states, and half of it is freeway. At night, it's empty, and quiet, save for isolated oasis on Westheimer or 1960; otherwise it's a thousand miles of wasteland. And then there's parts where you get home and you sure would like to go to bed cuz you're seeing out of your mind or you can't feel the blood throbbing fifty miles a minute through your forehead. Not because you want sleep but you're too tired to go anywhere else. It's yawning that wakes you up, and then panic sets in. Do the morning vomit, curse out your eyes for being so goddam big then go put up with fuckers who act surprised when you let their actions reflect poorly on them. I'm glad Rice and UH have spring break now; it'd be an excuse to head to Galveston but there's too many 16yr olds there grabbing booby.
