How is it that 5-7 measily pages of source evaluation is being such a buggering headache to write? Blah. Had to take a break when my eyes started spinning. I watched episodes 3 and 4 of Doctor Who.
The skeletal corpses on the alien ship were what intrigued me the most about this Pirates of the Caribbean knock-off. I would be very interested, but not at all surprised considering Moffat's love of tying together instances, if the living breathing forms of that species showed up in a future episode.
I'm very pleased that Rory's nursing skills, in some shape and form, have been addressed and showcased in multiple episodes in a row. I wish Martha had been addressed as a doctor-in-training more often during her time, so it's lovely to see Rory being, as always, brilliant.
MUCH LOVE for Gaimain for writing an episode I have wanted to see forever - I love the idea of the TARDIS having tons of rooms and stuff, and I always wanted an episode set inside the TARDIS where we could see some of those rooms. While this isn't quite the fantastic tour I imagined, it was still awesome.
I do have to wonder, if Amy was being tormented by visions of Rory growing older and dying cursing her existence, what was Rory being tormented with? And if he wasn't being tormented, why would the House pick and choose? A holdover from his Auton life, or his alternate memories protecting him?
Also, TARDIS/Rory telepathic shipping. It's canon. WRITE ABOUT IT. X3 Idris was a bit lovely. However, I feel that if I had been the one to cast for her, I would've cast a shorter person. I dunno why.
Finally, the last scene. IT MADE ME SMILE SO HARD. And the Doctor used the telepathic circuits! <33333333 Gods, this episode was so wonderful, and just the cure I needed for paper-writing-brainpain.
Alright, squee's over. Back to writing. *sigh* C'mon brain, work!
