A productive day
Well, today has been productive. I managed to get up and out of the house by 10, headed to Alakazam for Free Comic Book Day. I nabbed the Captain America and Thor teamup. <3 They're adorable and their shield-brother bromance is epic and win. My only sadness is that the teamup comic itself doesn't stretch the full length of the comic book; instead, the last pages are filled with a preview from one of the EMH comics.
I wanted to pick up the recently released Thor The Mighty Avenger comic, but they were out. Still I count it as a win.
After this, I made the mistake of buying some iced tea - it was foggy and cold this morning, so a cold drink wasn't really wise to begin with, but I haven't had caffeine for a while and so all it made me was tired and head-achy. Got some In-N-Out as a really early lunch to soak up the caffeine.
I zipped on over to the Spectrum again to see THOR - it was every bit as awesome the second time around, but I think I will be satisfied with just two viewings, at least until it hits the $2 theatre.
After the film, I decided to get some exercise, so I walked to Target and bought 2 graphic tees: classic-Thor and MASH 4077. I wanted to get a Captain America or Classic Avengers shirt, but they didn't have any. Well, they had one Avengers shirt, but it was Thor, Hulk, Cap, and Spider-Man, which was a bit 'WTF Where's Tony? Fail.' Maybe once July rolls around.
They also had Iron Man 2 on sale very cheaply, so I grabbed it, mostly to complete my chronology.
And now I am back home, ready to watch Doctor Who. I should probably work on my paper though.
