A Sherlock/Avatar: TLA idea
Been watching ATLA episodes, and I had a Thinky Thought that AMUSED me.
Centuries have passed since Aang the Avatar brought peace to the four nations, and the world has grown both culturally and technologically. In this time of peace, there's really no need for an Avatar, so what does he do with himself? He fights crime!
Enter Sherlock, the latest Avatar, born to a wealthy, influential fire nation family, and John, an average Earth citizen with not-so-average Earth Bending, formerly of the Earth Kingdom army. Together, they help the Four Nations Police Force, made up of individuals from all four elemental societies both Benders and Not, as they solve mysteries on the streets of a more modernized Ba Sing Sei.
Yeah, I thought this up and simultaniously went "WTF" and "THAT IS AWESOME."
