Never should've gotten up this morning
Well, I figured this morning when I couldn't wake up from a strange and slightly depressing Marvel-Civil-War-themed dream that today was probably better served staying in bed.
But I did not! I got up, drove to Irvine, and attended class. I was late because of rain traffic. I did not have breakfast because I left quickly. I grabbed a bite to eat at Chik Fillet, but it tasted funny and was of poor quality, and made my stomach hurt. Compounded with the packaged rice I ate last night, the hurt turned into problems not best had in a public restroom.
Ugh.
Hoping to cheer myself, I tried to see Narnia at the $2 theater, but they only had it in 3D for $4. Miffed, I skipped the movie, went to the house. It appears the painting is done, but the new light fixtures in my bathroom and bedroom are so dim lit I can't see anything.
I had half a tank of gas when I started out this morning, but there was traffic on the 5, 55 and 91, so I took the overland, which took me twice as long. When I reached the other side, I still got stuck in traffic! Some arse in a Dodge hemi nearly clipped me changing lanes. By the time I got to Riverside, it was dark and raining. I tried to go to Borders to check for new Captain America movie comic tie-ins, because I heard one was coming, but there was nothing, and the bloody wind broke my brand new umbrella to the point of uselessness. I dropped my Ipod and keys in a puddle and now my earbuds don't work. At Ralphs, I got a tiny amount of food enough to have small meals for the next four days until Monday, when I have to move back. It still cost me $15. And when I finally pulled up to the house, my bread was crushed by my can of fruit, I had a headache the size of Belgium, and I had no gas.
I was right. I should've just stayed in bed.
