6am sanity vs insomnia update
Well, time for a life update.
My nose continues to bleed post-shower each day, usually right when I'm about to eat my first meal of the day, Thank You Stupid Nose.
Insomnia continues to play havoc with my sanity and sleep schedules, though tonight, I got something done with the waking time I was forced to endure. I finished my Illustrator final!
It's rubbish, but it'll get an A, probably. All I have to do is print it out and mount it. Except, my printer would die if I tried, and the nearest Kinkos is 30 miles away. WTF are we supposed to do? This requirement makes no logical sense, teacher.
I spent the rest of the time sniffling, wishing I could make some tea for my throat, and watching a Twilight Princess walkthrough on youtube. At one point, I got a little bored and opened a Star Trek music vid to Tik Tok, which actually fit pretty well with the action going on in the game. It was amusing.
Earlier yesterday, I made the remark to a friend of mine that I wish the original Fantasia people had done Claire de Lune, because it would've been interesting to see what they imagined. And then, not five minutes later, I pop onto youtube to find a copy of that song to listen to, and I find out they DID do a piece to Claire de Lune! It was cut out of the final product. It's very nice and soft; a swamp, two storks and the moonlight. Not what I might've imagined, but still. Pleased as punch to find it. Better watch it before Disney finds it and pulls it down.
Also, last night, I was a bit stupid and tried to shake up my box of Silk over my desk. Amazingly, the resulting soymilk-spill-carnage spared all my electronic devices, AND my Pokemon SS guidebook. I just had to clean up the floor, the desk, and the keyboard, which was wounded in action but not seriously. At least, there've been no complications yet. Of course, once I'd finished cleaning up, I then ripped my rice krispies bag to nearly-unusable disrepair. Very fail I was.
About the neopets internship resume submission: I have not yet done so, much to my dad's annoyance I'm sure. I want to, I really do, but my portfolio is just...UGH. Maybe now that my final projects are done I'll spend a day and update stuff. x_x though, update with WHAT is the question. bah.
