I went for a drive on a quest to find a Wal-Mart cuz I wanted to look at monitors in person. I got lost four times, had to stop in a best buy to use the Mac-computers internet to check my directions, found the Wal-Mart in Santa Ana, and spent five minutes there before my head started aching. All I got out of this trip was a need for asprin, a case of road irritation, and the decision that if I'm gonna hypothetically get a new/other monitor, I want a widescreen 20-inch or greater. 18.5 is just too small.
And in all respect I should probably actually look for a second used/refurbished 1280x1024 Sharp monitor, like my current one. That way I can double my height as well as my width. Yeah. That's probably a cheaper and better idea than a widescreen LCD.
Hypothetically of course. Its not like I have...y'know...money or anything. And any price I settle on for whatever monitor is immediately increased by $50 for a damn adaptor-port that would allow me to hook both screens to one comp.
