Flash! (ah-aaah)
I am such a geek. I decided it was time to start working on my flash assignment of doom, so I opened up Flash and put on my iPod and decided to start off the workforce by listening to Queen's theme song for Flash Gordon.
I think I must've jinxed it, because then I decided I needed to do a background layout before I could do buttons, and closed Flash to open Photoshop. But for some reason I have no capability to do anything in photoshop. I open a document, I press the brush button or the lasso button or whatever, and pft, nothing. My little cursor remains a hand, with which I can grab the canvas and move it around if I have scrollbars, but it won't change to anything else.
I tried quitting and opening photoshop again, but no luck. I hope I don't have to restart my computer, dagnabit. *grumblegrunt*
In other news my brain hates my design ideas and is whispering negative thoughts as to my future as a designer. Shut up brain!
EDIT: On a side note, I would like to express my annoyance with the fact that while there are plenty of tutorials and classes and courses out there that teach you how to physically make something in x-program, no one seems to want to help the public design things that actually look good. (This is probably due to the high prices we computer nerds can charge people for our services - don't teach the sheep how to do it and they'll keep paying. But it's still annoying.)
EDIT2: the problem fixed itself and as a bonus I discovered completely on accident a cool way to get neat painted rock formations. But then I immediately forgot how I did them once I'd finished. *headdesk* Still, progress is progress. Tomorrow I think I shall spend the day doing assets for various assignments. I need a tree and a pic of Keso and a uppermost logo, and then I have to figure out the Buttons Of Evil. I bloody hate navigation for this site, I don't even know what I'm doing.
