Gah! Wake up muse!
I recently joined the ranks of lower_tadfield in my never-ending search for more Good Omens fic, and have been steadily working my way forward through time from the beginning of their archives. It saddens me when I come across posts that used to contain artwork proclaimed to be wonderful, but which now hold nothing but broken tags, and it saddens me when I find a fic link that no longer works.
But then I find fics like This One, and my brain implodes. Daegaer is truely one of the great GO fanfickers. And when I read this fic, I had a Vision - artwork, depicting the final scene as it appeared in my mind. A camera angle on the ground, angled skyward, looking up at Aziraphale's Crowley-worthy smile as he cradles the demon's body, wings spread in defiance as the sky begins to rain fire and brimstone upon the humans who killed him. In my mind, the picture is truely awe-inspiring and brilliant.
It makes me weep literally that I do not possess the talent to properly produce this image.
