For some reason I cannot keep a stable internet connection for longer than five minutes at a time tonight. This message has taken about an hour to post. It irks me.
I've reached the last episode of my NCIS DVDs, Angel of Death. The big season 4 finale. Oooo. Scary. I'm gonna watch it, though, instead of waiting to download the season 5 episodes that I've missed. Normally I don't. *shrugs*
A few observations about this show, up to the point just before Angel of Death...
Director Shepard - I don't like her lately. She's too obsessed with The Frog guy, and keeps butting into Gibbs' team. I also get the sense that she is quite jealous of Colonel Mann. I dislike it and I wish her to stop.
Tony - I applaude the storyline of Jeanne. Tony was great up till now, but seeing him grow up and consider stability opens a new side to the guy. However, at times I dislike Jeanne. She was equally great at first when we saw how alike they are, with the movies and the fun dates and the creative wooing techniques Tony put into play, but now that they're out in the open and getting comfy, she seems to be blowing up about small things and making Tony rather uncomfortable alot.
Which is why I continue to ship Tony and Gibbs in my fic-reading. X3
Abby - is very much the surrogate daughter for Gibbs and I adore her. I'm sad that the fellow who played Michael died, though. I would've liked to see that love story continue.
And I'm still not convinced that Gibbs is not Jack Harkness, and that Ducky is not the Doctor. Do you all remember the moment in Torchwood when Ianto nom-snogged Jack in his office, season 2? It cannot be coincidence that there was an equally hot scene between Gibbs and a woman in an earlier season. Had her flush against the rib of his boat, kissed her quite thoroughly; my brain exploded, at least. She turned out to be the baddie though. Ah well.
I'm still waiting for Palmer and Lee to get caught screwing in the morgue after hours.
McGee continues to be charming and fun, and Ziva continues to kick ass.
I cannot wait for more new episodes.
In the meantime, however, I did research, because I heard Gibbs was on JAG. Turns out, NCIS is a spinoff from JAG, which is very spiffy. I'm nabbing the two-part "pilot." To see the first appearance of Gibbs, DiNozzo and Ducky: thus is my current dream.
But I digress. It is now ten to midnight, and I must sleep. Though after watching Unwrapped's look into Baskin-Robbins "scoop school," I'm too hungry to sleep.
