I went to the counselling office today and waited in a cramped little chair for about an hour before I got called in. I had to make sure that what me and my mom thought was the remaindant of classes and units I had to take to graduate was correct. We figured about a total of 18 units required courses, 6 units history/polsci, 1 unit of PE and 7.5 units from elective area 1, not counting what I'm taking for winter right now. And no more math.
We got it a bit wrong.
Apparently there's a hell of a lot less I have to take, if I count this semester. 3 units of History or PolSci, which is just one class. 3 units/1class of Health Education 1, no substitutions, 1 1-unit activities class for PE, 1 class from either English 1B, Math 1-49, Philosophy 11 or Speech 1or 9. 12 units from the required section, and 4.5 units from the elective area. All totaled, that's just 26.5 units, or 10 classes.
Dividing that up with 12 units Spring and Fall and 6 units Winter and Summer, I'm going to be done in three semesters with room to spare and will probably be able to graduate at the end of Fall.
