Guh. Can't talk. Time Crash short-circuited my brain.
Cuz, y'know, GUH.
I especially rather liked when Five was all, "oh, oh no, a FAN." *giggles madly*
I liked the explaination they gave for why Five looked older. They didn't bother to explain that away for Patrick Troughton in The Two Doctors.
The placement of the segment was well-played, too. Directly after Martha's departure, before he could put up the shields, and the explaination of the shields came into play at the end, smoothing over the entrance of the Titanic, which before was abrupt and all WTF-ish.
The only sad thing about it is that it aired after the season 3 boxset was released. A pity - I would've liked to see it inserted into the episode itself. I wonder if for the Season 4 boxset, on which it will inevitably be placed, they'll insert it into the beginning of Voyage of the Damned?
Watching some Highlander to heal my synapses. I can't help but wonder, watching the series from the beginning, what would've happened had Tessa lived? Actually, I don't much care, but I would've been interested in seeing how she got on with Adam Pierson. That's just the rub of it, isn't it? Too late to go in and insert a new prompt idea to my entry for the holiday ficathon. "Tessa meets Methos at the annual Russel Nash New York holiday party." Fun stuff, cuz for some reason a lot of people think Connor MacLeod likes throwing holiday parties.
