For some reason I'm watching Batman Begins while trying to work on MSG, and my brain started screaming at me.
"Bruce Wayne/Batman is the only non-powered superhero in the Justice League and yet he hasn't bit the dust yet! And Look! Raz Al Gual is teaching him how to use a sword! And Look! Raz isn't making any mention of how long ago he lost his wife or anything, ahahahahah! Bruce and Raz are Immortals. And Alfred is Bruce's Watcher. bwahahahah."
It makes a hell of a lot of sense, scarily.
Got it. Bruce got offed at some point during his understanding-the-dark-side period and Raz felt him when he passed by the prison. That whole "nowhere in the world Bruce Wayne can hide" nonsense was bull.
