Demonic mall rat? Where?
I would really LOVE to know where I aqquired this new and rather frightening urge to wander all over and purchase junk I don't need, when I've spent most of my pre-adult life in as much understanding about Mall Rats as the Fifth Doctor has about where Heathrow Airport is.
I've got about 88 bucks in my account right now, pithy tithes thanks to not working all summer, and even though my rational brain says I need to KEEP THAT for, y'know, food and gas and living, I'm still wandering whimperingly over to my Amazon Wishlists and I itch to buy stuff on it. Like the Torchwood books, the Doctor Who novels I'm missing, the already-released and the not-yet-released of the dvd episodes. The other two seasons of Roswell, because even though it is such crack I can't watch most of it, I like to have complete collections. Hell I have crap I REALLY don't need on there, like The Young Indiana Jones chronicals (volume 1 slated for October 23rd) or all six seasons of Highlander, three Highlander movies, and Avatar, Book 2: Earth. Again, just to complete collections. Stuff Serenity and Dead Man's Chest on there, the two disk collectors editions, even though I have the first release single dvds. Second seasons of Bones and Supernatural, even Life on Mars - soundtrack and seasons, thank you very much.
Ok, new question: Why the hell do I have my wishlist MEMORIZED? o_O
I think on the 20th when I get paid, I'm gonna not spend any of it. I need to sort it out, and only if it hikes my savings over 1000, and my account over 500, then I am allowed to spend excess. and seeing as how the books on the list are the cheapest, I'll try to stock up on them.
Mantra Time, Megan: I will not impulsively spend 160 dollars on a set of Highlander seasons. I will not impulsively spend 30 dollars on even one of the highlander seasons. I will overcome this crack addiction and not fall behind in my classwork.
