La la la
I totally didn't do anything today.
Well, I got up about 9:45 after going to bed a bit after 5 am. Talked to a couple of people for a bit, and ended up going back to bed, still bleary-eyed at about 10:30. Just before noon, I slowly awoke to the sound of nails being pounded. It was actually regular enough that I thought someone was using a nail gun for a bit, walking back, and thumping in another set of nails. I got up and got dressed and poked my nose out the front door long enough to learn that the maintenance dude was replacing the boards that had been torn up by the gate at the corner of the building. Said gate has been swinging about there for a while now, and unfortunately is able to be swung outside of the fence to the courtyard, right into the path of where I park the truck. The most recent tearing of the boards was due to me not seeing that it was out and knocking the gate clean out of the moorings in those boards.
He remounted the gate, and I believe I may see about finding some way to prevent the southern 90° of its swing so the smacking it with the truck bit won't be repeated.
I laid back down at around 2:45 or so due to having a headache. I figured a bit more sleep would probably help more than Tylenol. The whole bit with the steroids and antibiotics for ant bites thing had me thinking about turning to other solutions than medications, even OTC ones. I woke up again just before 5 greatly refreshed. Got in a little bit of play with a couple of people, and am probably going to finish Medusa, the newest Clive Cussler book until my night shift IM buddy gets to work.
