So this weekend my father and I got to play with LEGOs. Haven't done that together in nearly three decades. I've known my dad was a Frank Lloyd Wright fan for a long time, and Falling Water was one of his favorite places. When I saw that LEGO was making
Signature Architecture series based on Falling Water, I got one for my father for Christmas this year. This Sunday we had an afternoon while RoseRed took Mom and Sis to see WIcked as another gift.
It was a serious trip down memory lane. Of course, being both engineers and technical sorts we first sorted all 800+ pieces by type, then set about building the kit. A couple of hours (and sore fingers) later, we'd finished and proudly looked at what we had wrought.
I think this may need to become a tradition...
