Hello people of earth. Ooooooooo! (reference to Toy Story!)
I still currently reside in the local Lake Buena Vista, Florida, working for the local amusement park, Disney World. Yay. Can't you just feel the enthusiasm and excitement?!! Me too! NOT. AAAAAHHHHHHH. This is definitely NOT what I was expecting. I thought I was going to come down here, get to work in one of the parks, and want to stay here and never go home. No. Not so. I cannot wait for January 7 to hit so I can go back home. I do enjoy my days off and getting to go to the parks in my free time, but I do not enjoy my job. It's basically like working at a WalMart, except it's a downsized WalMart. We have food, we have clothing, we have toys, we have kitchen supplies, we have jewelry, we have purses, we have everything that WalMart has, except for it's Disney-fied. So, all in all, I'm basically working at a Disney-themed WalMart. Something I DON'T want to be doing. I just really want to get out of retail. So bad. I'm sick of it. By the time my program is up, I'll have 3 years in retail. I think that's quit enough. Let's just say, if I left to go home right now, I wouldn't be upset. But I'm going to stay and finish what I've started. Plus, I want to be here for Halloween and Christmas when they deck Magic Kingdom out in decor! But yea, as soon as January 7 comes, I'm so out of here. I'm ready to go back to Texas, even though apparently it's flooded where I live. Haha! I come to Florida, where it's supposed to rain everyday, and they get all the rain back at home. =P Random!
So while I'm here I thought I would do something fun and memorable. I got a giant journal and I'm going to attempt to get every single characters autograph and a picture with them! Then I'm going to glue the photo next to the autograph and Mod Podge it, so it kind of has a scrapbook feel! It's going to be so happy! I've already met the Fairy Godmother, Mary Poppins and Bert, Ariel and Prince Eric, Pirate Goofy, and Jessie! Lot's more to go, but I'm happy I got it started! =) All of the villains are supposed to come out for Halloween, so I'm looking forward to that. I'm just looking forward to everything, except for work. Because work is a poop.
Anyways, yea. That's pretty much what's happening here in Orlando. I'm going to get dressed so we can go find a post office for stamps. Yaaaaaaayyyyyy.............
