A whole new woooorld...!
Hello, small, yet faithful followers! =)
I am currently residing in Florida. I work for Disney World! Unfortunately, not in one of their four theme parks, but in Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resort. It's...nice. I'm not going to complain, at least I'm not out in the heat everyday. ^_~ At times, yes, I do wish I was in one of the parks, but at other times I'm glad to be where I was placed. My first day by myself, without a trainer standing behind me, was yesterday. Bad. Day. I ended up at the busiest register and I had two angry guests and all I could do was apologize profusely for something that wasn't my fault, and try to make them happy. One of the ladies knew that she made me feel bad and she apologized when she came back into the store. But still! That's not right to be so rude to me and then two seconds later try to be nice. NOT. COOL. Anyways, I'm just glad it's over. And I have tomorrow off, so that's a very happy day.
This whole experience so far has been tough. I've only been here for about a week, so I'm still adjusting to life on my own. I'm praying that each and everyday will be better and things will get easier. A new friend, Jasmine, and I went to First Baptist Church of Kissimmee this morning and had a wonderful experience! I really enjoyed it! So hopefully I'll have Sunday mornings off, at least, so I can continue to go. =) It made me feel better after last night.
Other than that, I've just been in training and taking a million internet classes for Disney in order to be able to work in the stores. And I've just recently actually gotten some sleep. Thankfully. So I will try to update as things happen. If they happen. I'm going to try to film some tomorrow so I can get a video up as well. ^^ Have a wondermous evening oh beloved children!
