An Update at Long Last...
Oh wow. I really have been lax with posting to this baby. But, considering the fact that I love the sound of my own voice (in my head, I suppose), and I'm dreadfully sick of writing papers, you can all hear my discourse on the latest jazz. Which, I suppose, isn't jazz at all, but that's so far beside the point that it's fallen off a cliff.
My life has been hectic as hell these days. I mean really, how does the devil manage? There's just been so much going on . TUXIS has been pretty fantastic, when it's not eating up my brains. Some silly idiot went and made me Premier, so there's a lot of work involved with that. On the upside, I get to write entertaining documents such as permission forms. I kid you not, that was the best fun I've had in awhile(says something about the state of my fun, no?). I mean, where else do I get to use the phrase "and their heirs and assigns" except when I'm drafting permission forms? Nowhere, that's where. I also get to feel important, and send out emails which I pretentiously title "Premier's Message". It makes me feel important, if nothing else ;).
It actually just hit me that I haven't posted since Christmas, at least nothing substantial...that's really really depressing. Anyway, I think it's because I've been writing papers, etc. out the wazoo. I'm so excited for Reading Week, it is most certainly ridiculous. So for those of you that are unaware, this was my year to try and find something new to be instead of a singer. It isn't working well. I'm just being. Not that that's a bad thing(it's certainly better than the alternative:P), but I'm really stuck on this identity thing. As well as that whole, "what the hell am I going to do with my life" thing. Yeah, it's not going so well. At this point I've pretty much decided to get fluent in French, then see what happens. Apart from these revelations, we'll just say that between Christmas and now, life has happened. There have been some interesting points, but some wierd ones as well, as seems to be the case with my life. I could expound ad nauseum about all the new and fantastic ideas that have come into my head lately, but I think I'll save that for another post, since this one is already getting long. Suffice to say, I've been thinking alot! Best of wishes for all of you as you head into Reading Week, and you'll hear more from me, I promise!
