Switching hats
In addition to my job and various business I run, I have been dividing my time between home renovations and travel planning. Good winter projects.
As the sink I need to install will not arrive for few days, it seemed a good time to go back to planning or trip to China for this Spring. My 50th birthday is fast approaching so we want to travel somewhere special this year. The Year of the Horse is supposed to be a fortunate one for travel, so why not!
I am currently going back and forth with an agent in China, trying to finalize our 16 day itinerary. We have chosen not to go with a formal tour, but instead customize our itinerary. I think I will shorten our time in Shanghai and add a couple of days in Guilin. I am doing my best to plan in some down time so we are not run off our feet for the entire time, but I is hard to pass up the chance to see so any of these amazing places. I don't know if I will ever back, so I want to see as much as I can. China is such a huge place, rich in history. I want to see everything!
