Very scary moment...
Well heres what happened. a couple of days ago, I was playing FFXI (yea yea yea, I know I know, don't have to say it) when I heard one of the dogs hacking. 30 minutes later I heard her hacking again, really really badly this time. So I went downstaris to check on her, she was laying down hacking like she was choking on something. Patted her back, see if that would help, nothing, got her water, didn't work eather. Opened her mouth and saw a white pice of something in there, and it wasn't coming out. She was really weak and knew when wasn't getting enough air. So I ran into the kitcken to the ER wannabe draw and got a hemostat (thx god mom was a surgery nurse for a while). Ran back to Twilight (thats her name BTW) and opened her mouth open, tried a couple of times, but her tounge got in the way or she would lay down tired. Finaly I held her tounge down was able to pinch on the "object" and pulled it out. I was a pice of folded out raw hide bone. was about 3-4 inches long. Got her some water, shes doing fine now. I guess what happened was she chewed on the bone, the end-knot fell off and some how un-folded itself, and she tried to eat it whole and got stuck. That was one of the most scariest moments in my life, and hope I don't have to deal with something like that for awhile.
