Well, today was a pretty good day. Well, except for two things. The first being that Matt's decided to end his truly awesome D20 Modern/Planescape game. However, after seeing how he was the whole ride home, I don;t blame him. I'm just gonna miss the game, it was a blast
The second bad thing is that Tony was in an accident tonite. He feels OK right now, but he did hit his head on the dash. Thankfully, his ride is also OK. Still, it sucks that it happened
Now for the good news
Work is still going well. Again, my boss has been talking about plans he has for me several months down the line from now. Which is always a good thing.
To make things even better, Sandy and Brent will be here for Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning. However, timing could be better as i will probably have to leave the dinner at Annie's early to go pick them up from the Red Bank train station. Oh well, could be far worse.
I'm fully intending to begin posting the Deadlands updates here, just probably not till the weekend. However, I AM a gamer and since I suggested it last Saturday, I think this is the perfec place to begin compiling the Top 100 (or so) moments in my gaming groups history (including Conventions). Here's just a few of my favorites:
Luvon(Vinnie): "That's an interesting Indian. I think I'll go check him out"
Rich Johnson's Arizona Ice Tea Incident. Open the bottle for the first time and wacth the bottom drop out emptying the contents of the bottle all over him.
Kelly telling Ken to "Roll his dick" in the Shadowrun campaign(We all KNOW you meant Dex, but still Kelly :) )
A second Kelly moment, this time from his In Nomine game. "Yes, demons are immune to truth Semen."
(You ARE the king of flubs in speaking Kelly:) )
As the beserked thark (Andy) attacks the Priests of Tempus, the drow ninja (Ken) pulls both Katana's and shouts, "Wait. He's a nice thark"
This one is a MonCon moment. I don't remember the person playing Tenser's name, but when he teleported ontot the moving mag lev subway train and the end of the car caught up with himj, well, that was priceless.
John McClain (Me) spending one of his lone bennies in Matt's Weird War II game to get Ruby to sleep with him.
Ken's infamous kobold army beseiging only one wall of his town.
I know there are others, but I'm leaving them open to all the rest of you. So please, leave your favorites as comments.
Until next time...
Remember, no man is worthless, when he has friends (paraphrased Wonderful Life :) )
