Mostly I'm still in my no-gaming mood, meaning you won't see me in MMORPGs or spending hours in a row sitting on the comp playing some stuff, but the dear BF gave me a link to something fun this week-end, and I decided to give it a shot. It's, quite simply, called
Ogame (site in English
here), and doesn't require me to stay logged in all day long to perform my stuff here. Quick 'n dirty, which I like, because we made our own (very) small alliance, are learning the ropes together (we both play on Univers 19 on the French server), AND don't need to give it too much time to get results. Which in the end exactly comes down to what I'm expecting from a game - fun, without the feeling of commitment that has plagued me for so long. Usually I'm not fond of strategy/management games; this one however is easy enough for me.
Unrelated note #1: I managed to get sunburnt for the first time this year, in a very stupid way - we ate on the terrace on Sunday, and I completely forgot that this would also count as prolonged exposure to the sun. At least I can trust my body to come down with a nice tan for the end of the week, but I definitely need to remember that this year, I'm actually getting out of the house very often OMGWTFBBQ!! and will need to do something for my skin after years of living like a vampire... ;)
Unrelated note #2: Haibane Renmei is really special a series... but also a pretty interesting one. Must... not... watch it... all at once!
