We had gone to the restaurant with a friend tonight - just two little hours, not more - and when coming back home, we saw that Vulcain had managed to open the kitchen door and run amok in the house... Normally we leave him there when we're not home, as pretty much the rest of the other rooms contain cables and computer material, so we want to keep an eye on that. Anyway. He hadn't caused much of a mess in the end, the more of it being chewing on the old Easter crown we still had, and I'm not worried about this horror in any case. It was hard to scold him though; turned out that the poor boy had actually taken a few of my shoes and the scarf on my chair and gathered them on the blanket I keep for him in my room (it was still warm). He didn't chew on them or anything, so I assume he simply wanted something that "smelled like us" to keep him company :/
It's heart-breaking to see him like this. But somehow, we still need to teach him to stay alone for regular periods of time, else I'll never be able to go to work, buy the food or anything, and these aren't things I can skip, heh. Gee. That's hard sometimes.
