Before going back to working on my classes, here's my February update for
the 50 books a year challenge.
- Alexandre Dumas - Les Trois Mousquetaires: I discovered it again, after 12 years when I had promptly forgotten half the story (shame on me).
- Alexandre Dumas - Vingt Ans Après: Squee for Charles I and Lord de Winter. Seriously.
- Carl Bernstein & Bob Woodward - All the President's Men: I've wanted to read it since studying for the CAPES, now it's done at last.
I also read the first 9 volumes of Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas (fangirl forever) and the first 17 volumes of Beck (thank you, library), but I'm not counting them for the challenge. They're manga and very quickly read, and I only want to count novels/non-fiction written works (I mean without images), otherwise I'd finish that challenge in 1 month only.
You can see that I haven't been taking the bus & tramway very often during the past month. Also, the two Dumas books must add up to something like 1800 pages, so of course it was bound to take more time to read (yeah, I also read the introductions and the likes, because I'm just hardcore like that).
Total: 10/50
