Yes, I know, once again I'm toying with what may be too much for my own sake.
I'm pondering whether or not I should post excerpts or, even, my complete NaNovel this year over a specific LJ. Or on this one, with a filter, so that not everyone on the FList is bothered with that if they don't want to read it.
I still plan on using my WordPress NaNo blog from last year, but unless I password-lock the entries there, I won't be able to post everything on it, only short excerpts. (*) Besides, I know many people who do NaNo also use LJ, and having both types of blogs could be a good way of sharing things without causing hassle to the potential readers (if there are any, haha). I must admit I don't trust myself that much with filters, half the time I end up mixing them. At least with a fresh blog, this won't happen. I hope.
I guess posting on two blogs in that regard wouldn't be too much work--after all, it'll only be copying & pasting, no "new" posts to be thought out and written each time. However, I'm still hesitating. It may just be... I don't know, totally useless in the end?
Well, I still have a couple of weeks to decide this. Maybe it's just my normal self, to want that much to share my writings with the whole world. ^_^
And I also need a new NaNo icon for this year. Hmm. Or just ONE NaNo icon.
(*) If anyone wonders about the reason why, three words: first print rights. Much like with last year's story, I don't know if one day I'll want to edit and try to have it published, and I don't want anyone turning it down because it's been published completely all over the internet. As long as it's not available in full to any random person swinging by my page, my ass is covered.
