It's drawing time again!
Oscar van Knot, Vendel merchant, minor seat of the Vendel League, and swordsman of the Snedig school. He's my boyfriend's character in the tabletop RPG Secrets of the 7th Sea, and quite the complex one, if I may say so. There's much more to him than meets the eye, many secrets hidden in his past, many more secrets to come, now that certain societies start to get interested in our group... but this isn't something to be revealed here!
Of course, he didn't start off with that many aspects to him, but the way our game has been evolving, the BF had to develop him in that way (we were only two chars at first, him the only one with fighting skills, so he had to make sure he could be up to it, because it sure wasn't my Fate Witch who could get rid of the henchmen we found on our way). Right now, he's seeking acceptance within the Explorers--it's amazing to see how many frigging Syrneth artifacts we happen to tread on--and pursues the noble goal of bringing medication and health care to both rich and poor people through Theah.
And that tricorn was a bitch to make right.
