Summary:
Seo JooHyun, with several great musical performances never thought that at her 27 years olds she will be filming her very first drama… She was so out of her water but that didn’t meant she wouldn’t give it her best try… And with THE Jung Yonghwa as her co-star, as long as they keep it professional everything will be ok… Even if their very first scene involved several bottles of wine, a bed and no clothes… Talk about second impressions and getting to know each other… Yes, people as you are reading it, they were jumping right into bed! Burn with envy fangirls, for the next six months he is all mine…
Chapter 1
She still couldn’t believe she have landed this role… The auditions for the female lead have been interminable, more so with a big name as Jung Yonghwa as the main lead. The role have been created for him. Just for him, and everything else just needed to adapt himself around him.
That is why auditions have been pure torture, big names were scratched left and right and she remained. She put her very best front, her years working in musicals, helping her to keep herself calm… Until in the very end it was between her and the singer IU… Big idol name, versus her, a nobody, in the idol world but well acclaimed in the theater department.
The producers have opted for a drama, without too much drama from the fans of Yonghwa and IU. So she, with the small fan base, full of non-crazy people, have ended up the winner. She still was doubting her manager is advice about participating in this drama… She belonged to the theater not the filming set… But then, work was work and this will boost her carrier in a huge way.
And now she was here, waiting to film her first scene with her ‘fiancé’, who will dump her like trash for another pretty girl… ‘uck!’ even the drama was so cliché, she was to be the ugly duckling transformed by the hand of the main lead into a pretty thing to be envied by all. ‘Really’ Every time she read the script she suppressed the urge to roll her eyes… But then she was a professional and if she had to act the stupid ugly duckling for the sake of her career she will excel at it.
She looked down, she read her script and schedule again. This week will be all about the remember scenes, when everything was pink color with her ‘fiancé’. Go figure, they will ride bikes in the Hang river, take late walks in dark street holding hands, she will cook for him, he will send her flowers, invite her to a pretty dinner and say he couldn’t marry her because his family have other plans. She will act the pretty, but dumb, surprise face and cry her eyes out, for a man that was not worthy… Gosh her character in this drama was so not like her. But it was work and she will show them what a great actress she was.
“Ready for the first scene?” asked the assistant director.
Her stylist responded “Yes she is” as she gave a few last tugs to her low ponytail. “Just need the final touch” said the stylist as she gave her big red framed glassed. Seohyun stood up from her desk and stood to her full height. She looked at herself took a deep breath and then slouched her shoulders a little, grabbed the scrip to her chest protectively and blinked repeatedly like a scared butterfly, her expression turning into a love fool as she smiled in a silly way at her reflection.
“Woahh” she heard the assistant director say as he looked at her. “What a change!”
Once she was satisfied, she stood to her full height again, her neck gracefully erect, her jaw aligned with the floor… Always remembering to walk without letting her imaginary crown fall to the floor… Her ballet instructor shall be must proud of her, that after so much instigation she have manage to convert Seohyun into a gracefully woman.
“I’m ready” said Seohyun as she turned smiling to the assistant director. “Let´s my fiancé woo me to his heart is content…” She turned to her stylist and bowed “Thank you Unnie for the hard work”
“It’s a difficult think to make you look plain and simple, but I think we managed well enough” said the stylist smiling. “More so with the way you act, good girl, that was pretty amazing”
Seohyun smiled and bowed pleased. She turned to walk to the where the lights and cameras were waiting for. She left the script in the hands of her personal assistant as she walked to her fiancé is side. “Jinwoo!” she said smiling as she bowed.
“Seohyun” he smiled back. “As lovely as ever…”
“Such a sweet talker” she said as she rolled her eyes playfully. “Are you ready to make me fall in love and dump me?” she said with mischief, trying to wipe the tension of the first film… Just like in the theater, the first performance was always the most difficult, after that, everything was a play in the park.
“Seohyun, if I ever have the pleasure of making you fall in love with me, be sure I will never dump you… or let you dump me”
‘Whoaaa’ he had sounded so serious that after a couple of blinks, she ended up laughing hard. “You are so funny” she said smiling as she hit his arms. “I can tell we are going to get along well”
“Good to know” said Jinwoo smiling.
“Everyone in position” screamed the director. People hurried in every direction.
The assistant director rushed forward standing between them and the camera. “Love Shuffle… Episode 1 - Scene 1”
The director took a deep breath as the assistant director clapped the board shut. “Lights, Camera and… Action”
‘So it begins’ thought Seohyun to herself as she immersed in her character… Now the world will know what stuff she was made about. She couldn’t wait.

“Hello!”
“Oh” Hello!” said Seohyun surprised as she smiled at the camera that was filming her.
“We are filming the BTS for the DVD and we wondered if we could ask you a few questions” said the woman holding the camera, her assistant carrying the battery and the microphone.
“Sure” she said smiling. “What you want to know?”
“So Seohyun how was your first filming day?”
“Very interesting, totally different from the theater.”
“Are you ok with the change?”
“Oh, I love the theater, it is my home, but as an actress I wanted to take new challenges and with this opportunity I want to prove myself and the public that I can conquered bigger tests.”
“Are you excited about working with Jung Yonghwa?”
“He is a great singer and actor… During the script reading I could tell he was easygoing, but very focused in his work… Just my kind of guy, we will get along very well I think.”
“Your kind of guy?”
“Yes” she said smiling, her eyes twinkling with mischief.
“How so?” said the woman holding the camera, smelling juicy stuff. Seohyun knew perfectly well what the woman was thinking and what she was doing… Nothing like putting a little sugar to the cream.
“Oh, well. In the theater a great romance couldn’t be performed at its finest, if you at least don’t fell in love a little with your partner… Is part of the magic of the theater… and dramas… Jung Yonghwa is the kind of man any woman would fall for, the trick is, to stay standing in the edge of the cliff but never fall in…”
“Is the voice of experience talking?”
“Yes, it is…” said Seohyun nodding like a teacher smiling to the camera.
“Any final word to the public?”
“Thank you so much for tuning in and giving us a chance to entertain you! Love Shuffle fighting!!!” she ended with the classic punch up signal.
The camera stopped recording and the woman bowed to Seohyun “Hello, my name is Tiffany and this is my assistant Nick… You do know how to work the camera girl!”
Seohyun laughed “Thank you!” said Seohyun bowing.
“Keep it up, I’m sure the fans will roll on their bed, with envy or glee, watching this… I do hope your chemistry with Yonghwa turns out to be explosive, nothing sells more than sexual tension on camera and off camera in the BTS" she said as she patted her camera. Tiffany grinned. “I will take care of that, you two just need to give met the good stuff.”
Seohyun laughed out loud as she shook her head. “Hopefully” said Seohyun smiling.
“Well, see you around. Good Luck!” said Tiffany before turning and walking away.
This filming set will prove itself, very funny if things keep like this… Who would have thought that? She may actually enjoy filming a drama.
But, her first love will be forever the theater. Always.

“One Hundred” said Jung Yonghwa as he stood from the floor, finishing his push-ups in time.
“What are you doing?” asked a woman near him.
He looked up and found her holding a camera pointed at him. “Hello” he said smiling, already knowing the drill of the BTS for the DVDs… This was his fifth drama since his debut and between his singing career, shows performance and drama filming he was pretty used to the camera. “I was just warming up for my first scene.
“What are you filming today?”
“We will be playing a very manly round of basketball… at some point my shirt will come off.” He said winking at the camera. “So I have to be prepared” he said as he flexed his arm, his muscles bunching. He could even hear the fangirls screaming in front of their computers or tv’s. Good thing the woman in front of him grabbed his demonstration for what it was and rolled her eyes smiling.
‘Show off’ she mouthed and he smiled for widely. “Are you excited for this project?”
“Very excited” he said turning serious. “I felt so blessed for be able with such great producers, director and cast”
“What do you think about your partner?”
“Seohyun is a great actress, I have the opportunity in the past to be part of the public in several of her performances… I’m sure she will do great”
“Have you meet outside the script reading?”
“Not at all, we haven’t have the opportunity and since now we are focused on filming the back stories, we haven’t have the chance.” He said looking full of regret for good measure. “But we are traveling to Hawaii next week to film our first scenes together.” He said smiling playfully at the camera. “I’m sure we will get to know each other better”
“Something to say to your fans?”
“Please give all your love and support to ‘Love Shuffle’ we are doing our very best to deliver you the best romance comedy of all time. Please look forward to it. Bye!” he ended waiving at the camera.
“Good!” said the woman as she turned off the camera. “Tiffany” she said extending her hand to shake his. “This is my assistant Nickhun, we will be in charge of filming the BTS”
“Nice to meet you, I look forward to work with you two” said Yonghwa giving them his best smile. Tiffany looked at him long and smiled slowly. “You and Seohyun do make a great couple… This drama could be full of juicy stuff”
Yonghwa laughed. “I’m sure Miss Seohyun and I will get along well enough”
“She said something interesting in her BTS” said Tiffany thoughtfully. “Something about that for making a great performance you have to at least fall a little in love with your partner.”
“Really” said Yonghwa interested
“Let me show you” said Tiffany as she pressed a few buttons in her camera and showed him the screen… Indeed Seohyun was saying something about falling in love a little with your partner to make a great love romance for the public, but he was more surprised by how she looked. She was dressed plainly. A white shirt buttoned up all the way up, her hair grasped in a tight ponytail in the back of her head. Big red glasses covering half her face, with very plain make-up that made her look simply… plain. ‘Whoa indeed’ “She looks so different…” he said utterly surprised.
“Yeah! And she is so good! It’s like she transforms into another person when the camera begins to roll, pretty amazing stuff” said Tiffany nodding as she put away her camera. “Well, thank you for your time Yonghwa and Good luck with the drama.”
“Thank you” was all he said before he was called into set, Jonghyun was already there practicing his shots. “Aren’t you practicing a little too much.”
“Man, I’m rusty as hell” said Jonghyun as he failed another shot. “Couldn’t you ask for your character to like bikes or running cars? Why basketball?”
“Don’t be such a girl” said Yonghwa as he relieved Jonghyun from the ball and rushed to the basket to make three points easy as cake.
“I hate you” said Jonghyun as he glared at his friend.
Yonghwa laughed. “Just stuff it up, it will be only this time…”
“Easy for you to say…”
“Everyone get in position” said the director. Yonghwa and Jonghyun hurried to stand in the middle of the court.
The assistant director rushed forward standing between them and the camera. “Love Shuffle… Episode 1 - Scene 6” The assistant director clapped the board shut and rushed off.
“Lights, Camera… Action!” screamed the director.
Yonghwa took a deep breath and smiling to his friend, not Jonghyun anymore, but his friend Lee JungRok.
“Are you ready to be beaten shamefully?” he smirked as he shuffled the ball between his hand.
“You wish Park” smirked JungRok back, he nodded. “Like the old days?”
“First ten point’s wins, loser pays for dinner.”
“Deal”
“CUT!” said the director and Yonghwa stopped shuffling the ball. “Good, we will do it from the beginning from the other angle.”
“Ok” said Yonghwa as he and Jonghyun stayed standing in place as the members of the crew rushed to move cameras, lights and other equipment.
So it have begun… The next six months will be full of all nighters and a lot of coffee to survive interviews, photoshoot, promotions and a lot of other stuff… At his 29 years old he was more than used to it and if he have learned something with the years in the business, is that behind every huge success comes a lot of work and sacrifice.
And as always he was ready for the next battle… He would make sure ‘Love Shuffle’ became another huge success.

Another fic!!! Haahahahahhahaha First chapter, just a little introduction.
Inspiration: The BTS from Aaron Yan and Puff Guo in “Just You”… I loved their relationship, great chemistry and the best, they were not afraid to show they cared for each other. They were ultra adorable and playful.
So we will be jumping between real live and parts from the drama they are filming. XD Hella mess, I’m still figuring out how I will make that work. Hopefully I could pull it off well. The drama will be vaguely related to “Fated to Love You” the TAIWAN version.
Thanks to Ely and Fabi, who always listen to my ideas and brainstorm with me. XD Thank you girls!!! Aside from that I have stopped reading fics, but Fabi and Ely mentioned me that there is another fic in which YS is filming a drama too.
Aside from filming a drama together I can assure you, this has nothing to do with that one. This will be a full out romantic comedy, very little drama.
