I'm really happy to be back again - I don't know if its the fact that I'm earning a paycheck again, or that I see some output from productivity. Tomorrow will be my first work at home day, then there's the nice three day weekend :)
Things seem to be improving in many ways; my husband and I have been having some great conversations and we've been planning more things.
The girl is rolling from side to side, though she can get really mad when she's on her tummy. She's five months old now, I can barely believe it! The boy is playing on his computer now that he's out of school.
Current books:
- Cloud Atlas - This is a little slow right now, of course, it doesn't help when you set some reading for last thing in the evening (as you're falling asleep after a glass of wine).
- Motherless Daughters: The Legacy of Loss - I miss my mother. This book seems to have more attention spent on women who lost their mothers while they were children or teenagers, but there's certainly still a good amount for women who lost their mothers in early adulthood.
- Ten Minute Tone-Ups For Dummies - I need to get BUFF! Slow reading on this (probably because of all the other books :))
- Religion for Dummies - I'm in that spiritually needy mode again. I'll probably come out of it without any change again, but who knows. Daoism seems interestingly close to things I think about...
- Kushiel's Dart - I haven't cracked this book from the library yet, but its waiting!
- The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy [UNABRIDGED] (Audio) - I've been listening to this on my way to/from work. Hilarity ensues.
