P4O

One of my heroes, Tina, has opened my eyes to P4O, a non-commercialized awareness campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. So, in honor of such, and because, like Tina I tend to get distracted, I'm going pink now.

In other news, I'm now a Brownie Girl Scout leader. I was a Girl Scout myself from kindergarten through my first year of college, so this isn't anything new for me. I'm super excited about it, and can't wait to really get started. I have my first meeting tomorrow evening, and an open house at the school on Thursday evening to try to get more girls into the troop.

Hans starts his new job this Monday, so to celebrate the start of the new job, end of the month of vacation, we're going to have a barbecue at the Springs with some of our closest friends. It should be a really good day - I can't wait.

The girls went and spent the weekend with Hans' parents this last weekend so that we could celebrate our anniversary. It was a really nice weekend  -  Friday we braved the  torrents to go to dinner at Raglan Road, then we hit a few clubs with Hans' friend, Thomas. Saturday we got up and went to Wekiva Springs to go canoeing. Very nice trip!  Then it was out to dinner (Japanese), and back home for a movie. Sunday was spent shopping at Lowes and building a new section for the wall unit so that we could get a new plasma TV. The wall unit was finished Monday evening, and we had the TV set up by 10pm!

So now I'm prepping for tomorrow evening's meeting and watching Greatest American Hero. So until next time....
