dorky librarian wanna-be
I finally got around to signing up for my Campbell Co. library card, and I have to say it made me so nerdily excited it's unreal. Access to thousands of books, just down the street from my apartment. Why I didn't do it sooner, I don't really know. Other than I think it was my way of telling myself "don't worry, you won't be stuck here long enough to even have to use a library card". But clearly I've been stuck here for awhile :P And even though I only have 232 days til the move (roughly), that's 232 more days than I want to wait to read a dang book! I'm used to being able to just run out and buy a book if I want it badly enough, but Chase is way more expensive than he sounded at first, lol. So free books is the way to go at this point! (Plus, bright side, less to move later!)
Nate's home sick today. He went to work this morning, but has some sort of sinus thing going on (buckets of nasty yellow snot and all, thanks for sharing right!) so he went home at lunch. I spent my lunch hour running out getting Nyquil, Aleve cold & sinus, some chicken soup and kleenex for him. Hopefully I don't catch what he has. Last time I did I ended up needing 2 days off work to recover. That sucked! Too poor for that. I'm sure he'll want tomorrow off too, so we'll be even shorter this week.
Eugh. Big old spider just ran into my printer and back out. Made our dispatcher come get it for me lol. Seriously thought I was going into panic labor for a minute there :P I hate how bad spiders make me freak out!! YUCK though!!!
Anyway, that's about all that's happening here. Manda's coming up thursday. Have another NST at the hospital tonight. Woot =p Fun times!
